The International Youth Federation is an international non-profit youth organizations network governed by the present Statutes and the Swiss Civil Code. It is neutral politically, and non-denominational, aim to empowering youth worldwide.

The Marketing Specialist designs, develops and executes revenue-generating marketing programs for IYF and global channel partners in USA, Latin America, Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia and the South Pacific. This role requires an excellent marketer with an understanding of channel marketing programs, thought leadership, social media and all aspects of marketing that increase visibility.

Mission Statement:

To voluntarily represent, positively promote, and uphold the mission of “Empowering youth for better world” in various programs and opportunities throughout the IYF interventions and the community.


(A) Marketing support:

  • Responsible for Designing marketing and partnership proposals, marketing programs, launch activities, promotions, partner portal management.
  • Studying and examining the marketing advertising expectations, possibilities and prospective of the concerned company.
  • Administering and supervising the development of marketing plans, strategies and other tools.
  • Handling and supervising a specific unit of members responsible for implementing merchandising plans and programs.
  • Promoting the business plans, programs and advertising the crusades and other promotional activities of the IYF.
  • Interacting with potential partners and merchandising representatives about the various requirements of partnerships and working in collaboration with International Relations Commission.
  • Perform market research to forecast marketing trends and identify opportunities and manage records for future reference.

(B) Policy Support:

  • Assist in developing international marketing strategy and activities.
  • Assist the management in making some important decisions that enhance the implementing marketing programs and meeting the marketing targets.
  • Analyzing and examining the present or current marketing procedures and trends and looking for some areas of what could be enhanced.
  • Coordinate with international distributors on marketing activities.
  • Design and implement measurements to quantify revenue generated from programs executed.
  • Assisting the staff and personnel in promoting the initiatives.
  • Create and enhance external relations and partner relationships.


(C) Communications Duties:

  • Responsible for partner communications, customizing and sending partner communications on an ongoing basis.
  • Ensure brand communication for areas of responsibility are consistent with the company and brand positioning.

Experience and results preferred at national level preferred in youth empowerment role, business, public relations, external relations, development, communications, international relations, youth studies, sport, women empowerment, youth-led organizations or other relevant field.


Fluency in English with superior drafting skills is essential.
