The International Youth Federation is an international non-profit youth organizations network governed by the present Statutes and the Swiss Civil Code. It is neutral politically, and non-denominational, aim to empower youth worldwide.

The Director of NGO Accreditation Center has an integral role in providing strategic oversight for all accreditation services. His/her responsibilites includes participation in approvals, monitoring, evaluating, suggesting and implementing needed changes and continuous quality improvement to the overall accreditation process.

Mission Statement:
To voluntarily represent, positively promote, and uphold the mission of “Empowering youth for better world” in various programs and opportunities throughout the IYF interventions and the community.

(A) Accreditation Oversight:
• Manages and coordinates departmental activities related to the international accreditation process.
• Asset Accreditation staff in managing processes (applications, worksheets, accreditation manual).
• Supervise Portal data to support data analysis and reporting as needed.
• Develops proofs of compliance for accreditation standards, prepares policy drafts and prepares written documentation and reports.
• Recommends changes in policies and procedures when indicated by accreditation updates, changes, or modifications.

(B) Coordination Duties:
• Actively engage in NGO Activities, through strategic partnerships and public engagement activities and initiatives.
• Coordinate member organizations/Associations accreditation at IYF, through assist in connecting youth organizations with IYF for registration.

(C) Communications Duties:
• Maintain active communication with the registered IYF® organizations youth organizations and other interested agencies in at international level.
• Report organizations achievements, success stories, youth progressing and related news to HQ press.
• Provide annual report about IYF NGO Accreditation Center activities, stats, and registered/accredited organizations.

(D) Training & Capacity Building:
• Develops and conducts training on accreditation and professional standards.
• Provides accreditation related training to departmental personnel.

• Ability to evaluate operations, predict outcomes, and make recommendations.

Experience and results preferred at national level preferred in youth empowerment role, development, communications, international relations, youth studies, sport, women empowerment, youth-led organizations or another relevant field.

Fluency in English with superior drafting skills is essential.

Evaluation of qualified candidates may include an assessment exercise which may be followed by a competency-based interview.
